Frequently Asked Questions flower

How many looks do you offer for a South Asian wedding?
Most brides book 2 to 4 looks, one for each major event like Mehndi or Haldi (soft, glowy, minimal), Sangeet or Garba (fun, bold, colorful), Wedding Day (classic, traditional and Reception (glam or modern). We recommend discussing with your designer your entire look based on any theme or personal preference to best suit all occasions.

Do you offer hair + makeup together?
Yes! Most artists offer full glam packages including makeup, hairstyling, dupatta setting, jewelry placement (Some include outfit draping too!)

How long does bridal makeup take?
Generally, full bridal glam takes around 2 to 3 hours and non-bridal makeup around 45 mins to 1.5 hours per person. We recommend having initial discussions with the makeup artist on your needs so it can be planned better without any delays.

What if I want a natural look and not heavy makeup?
Totally possible! The makeup artist can customize the coverage and style based on your comfort—matte, dewy, soft glam, or full bridal. We recommend discussing in detail all your looks for different occasions.

Can I do a trial before the wedding?
Yes—bridal trials are highly recommended and usually done 1–3 months before the wedding. We suggest having prior meetings and discussions with the makeup artist to plan it better.

Can I show you inspirational photos or looks I like?
Absolutely! We recommend showing any Pinterest boards, Instagram saves, or celebrity looks—the makeup artists can tailor it to your features and outfits.

Can you match my skin tone and undertone correctly?
The makeup artists generally carry a wide range of South Asian skin-tone friendly foundations, from fair to deep complexions with yellow, golden, olive, or neutral undertones. Anything specific needed, we recommend discussing ahead of time.

Do you use waterproof or sweat-proof makeup?
Yes—especially important for long events, dancing, and outdoor ceremonies. The makeup artists use setting sprays and long-wear products. It also varies between all vendors.

Can you apply my own products if I have skin sensitivities?
Definitely—we recommend letting the makeup artist know ahead of time. They can use or mix in your skincare or foundation products.

Do you bring all your own tools and products?
Yes! The makeup artists bring a fully equipped kit including makeup, brushes, hair tools, false lashes and setting sprays.

Do you offer makeup for bridesmaids, moms, and guests?
Yes! The makeup artists offer group packages or per-person pricing for moms, sisters, aunties, bridesmaids, and close friends. Larger groups may require a second artist or assistant. We recommend discussing all your needs ahead of time for better planning.

How many people can you glam in one session?
Generally, one artist can typically do 4–6 non-bridal looks in a day and more with help from assistants or a second artist.

How far in advance should I book you?
We recommend ideally book 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season or destination weddings.

What do you need from us on the day of the wedding?
It varies between vendors, but standard practice is to provide a well-lit space (natural light is best), a table and chair, access to power outlets for hair tools and an area that’s calm/quiet, if possible.

How much does bridal makeup cost?
The Pricing depends on number of looks, hair and dupatta services at location (local vs. destination). We recommend having all points cleared during signing of the contract.
